Matthew 9:37 — Monday, November 2, 2026

Chapter 9 shows Jesus healing, forgiving sins and calling Matthew to follow him. He walks through towns and villages seeing the crowd and feeling compassion for it. The comparison with the harvest reveals that many people are ready to hear the message of the Kingdom. The difficulty is not in the harvest, but in the lack of workers willing to serve. This verse challenges us to pray and to offer ourselves for the mission. Each of us can be an answer to that prayer, going to meet those who need to hear the gospel.
