Explanation
Psalm 14 is a meditation on human corruption before God. Verse 1 says that the fool says in his heart, there is no God. Fool here does not mean ignorant, but one who rejects the truth in order to live according to his own desires. Denying God has practical consequences: without an absolute reference, life loses direction and wickedness multiplies. Yet the psalm ends with hope, announcing that God will restore his people. Today, more than arguing, we are invited to live in such a way that our lives reveal God's reality. Our conduct is a practical answer to the question of his existence.
