Psalms 9:10
“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”

Explanation
Psalm 9 combines praise and trust, celebrating God's justice on behalf of the oppressed. Verse 10 joins two realities: trust comes from knowing the name of the Lord, and God never abandons those who seek him. Knowing God is not merely knowing things about him but experiencing his faithful character. Here David shows that those who trust in the Lord will never be forsaken, because he does not forget those who seek him. In times of uncertainty, this is a firm foundation. We can seek God boldly, certain that he lets himself be found. God's faithfulness is the reason for our hope and our peace.
