Isaiah 55:6
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”

Explanation

Isaiah chapter 55 is a gracious invitation from God, calling everyone to receive life freely and to abandon the paths of evil. Verse 6 makes an urgent and hopeful appeal: seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. The door of mercy is open, but the invitation should not be delayed. The context speaks of abundant forgiveness and of God's thoughts that are higher than ours. Whoever seeks God finds him, because he lets himself be found by those who seek him with their whole heart. Today that same call resounds for us: it is time to seek the Lord, to turn to him in prayer. There is no better moment to seek God than now.
