Psalms 64:10
“The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.”

Explanation
Psalm 64 describes the conspiracy of enemies who plot sharp words and hide ambushes. David asks for divine protection against tongues that wound. Verse 10 closes with a lesson: the righteous shall be glad in the Lord and shall take refuge in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. The joy of the righteous does not depend on the enemies' silence but on the presence of God. Wounding words can cause pain, but they cannot steal the refuge we have in God. The upright in heart find in that trust a reason to glory. Today, facing unfair criticism or slander, we can run to the safe refuge. God is our joy in the middle of storms. Whoever takes refuge in him is never disappointed.
