Psalm 66 is a universal invitation to worship. Verse 1 proclaims: make a joyful noise to God, all the earth. The psalmist calls all peoples to recognize the works of God. After describing the great divine deliverances, he teaches that praise is born from testimony. Whoever has experienced God's care cannot remain silent. The psalm also reminds us that worship requires a sincere heart and obedience. Singing to the Lord is more than beautiful words; it is declaring his faithfulness. Today we can join that invitation and praise God with joy. All peoples, in every language, are called to worship. Our story is a testimony to the wonders of the Lord.
