The psalm is a great cosmic concert: Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. The whole universe is summoned to worship: angels, heavens, sun, moon, stars, seas, and mountains. All creation responds to the Creator's command. Today, this verse invites us to perceive that all creation testifies to God's glory. Along with the heavens and the earth, our voice can join the universal praise. Nature declares the majesty of the Lord in silence and splendor. We, created in God's image, are called to praise with words. May the worship of all creation begin in our hearts.
