Explanation
In prison, Joseph finds Pharaoh's cupbearer and baker, both troubled by dreams. Noticing their discouragement, Joseph asks the reason, and they reply that there is no one to interpret the dreams. The verse brings Joseph's answer: do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me them, I pray you. Even in prison, Joseph did not forget that all wisdom comes from God. He did not present himself as a magician but pointed to heaven. Joseph's faith turned every situation into an opportunity for witness. He could have become bitter, but he chose to serve. The text shows that God uses faithful people anywhere, even in prison. Today we are invited to remember that every ability comes from God. God gives direction to those who seek him.
