Psalm 21 celebrates the king's victory, acknowledging that his strength and his joy come from the Lord. Verse 1 says that the king rejoices in God's power and is glad in his salvation. Praise is born from recognizing that every conquest is divine grace. David understands that a leader's greatness lies not in himself but in the Lord's favor that sustains him. True joy does not come from success in itself but from salvation and the presence of God. Today, upon reaching any victory, we are invited to give the glory back to God. Every progress we have is a gift from him. May our joy always be rooted in the Lord.
