Psalm 60 was born from a military defeat David experienced, a moment when God's people seemed rejected. Verse 12 declares: through God we shall do valiantly, and he shall tread down our enemies. David learned that victory depends not only on strength or strategy but on the presence of the Lord. Even after a defeat, he renews his trust in God. With God, it is possible to rise and move forward again. The valiant deeds mentioned are not human conquests but works of divine power. Today we can face our challenges with that conviction. The Lord fights by our side and opens paths where there were none. In Christ, we are more than conquerors.
