Psalm 73 is Asaph's spiritual journey, who almost stumbled when he saw the prosperity of the wicked. He envied the fate of evildoers until he entered the sanctuary of God. Verse 25 is his conclusion: whom have I in heaven but you? And on earth there is none I desire besides you. Asaph discovers that the true portion is God himself, not wealth. When we see the unjust prosper, the temptation is envy; the answer is communion with God. Nothing on earth can replace the presence of the Lord. That trust transforms our perspective on success and wealth. Today we can declare with Asaph: God is everything to me. Whoever has God has what truly matters.
