Proverbs 3:5 — Tuesday, June 2, 2026

One of the most loved verses in all of Scripture, it captures the heart of the Christian life. Solomon calls us to place all our trust in the Lord, not just part of it. The contrast is with our tendency to lean on our own understanding and conclusions. This does not mean abandoning reason but submitting it to God. The next verse shows that when we acknowledge the Lord, he makes our paths straight. The promise is that those who trust never walk alone. Today, facing uncertainty, we are called to hand control to God. That trust brings peace and direction.
