Explanation

In the middle of famine and conflicts with the Philistines, Isaac remains in the land God indicated and prospers. In the chosen verse, the Lord appears to him at night and presents himself as the God of Abraham his father, saying: fear not, for I am with thee. This is the same promise given to his grandfather, renewed for the new generation. God is not only the God of Abraham but also the God of Isaac, faithful from generation to generation. Isaac's fear was real: disputes over wells and uncertainties. God answers with a word of safety: I am with thee. God's presence is the deepest answer to fear. Today this verse brings comfort in the middle of pressures. When he says I am with thee, fear loses its strength.
